Terms of Use

The service
ZipForge provides free, browser-based tools for creating and extracting ZIP archives. All file processing takes place on your device. By using the site you accept these terms.
Acceptable use
You may use ZipForge for any lawful purpose, personal or commercial. You agree not to use the site to process content that is illegal in your jurisdiction, and not to attempt to disrupt, overload or reverse-engineer the service in ways that harm other users.
No warranty
ZipForge is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. While the tools are tested and built on a widely used open-source compression library, we cannot guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Always keep your original files. ZipForge never modifies or deletes your originals — it only creates new downloads — but you are responsible for verifying that an archive contains what you expect before deleting anything.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ZipForge and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of the site, including data loss. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to use the service, which is zero.
Intellectual property
The site's design, text and code are the property of ZipForge, except for open-source components which remain under their respective licenses. You retain all rights to the files you process — we never obtain any rights over your content, and as described in our privacy policy, we never receive your content at all.
Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
